CuO/ZnO Tablets
BASF PuriStar® R3-15 is designed for the removal of Oxygen from different streams.
BASF PuriStar® R3-15 is offered as tablet with a nominal diameter to height ratio of 5 x 3 mm (3/16x 1/8”).
Product Applications
PuriStar® R3-15 is designed for the adsorptive removal of oxygen from industrial gases such as nitrogen, noble gases (e.g. He, Ar, Kr, Xe), carbon oxides, hydrogen, synthesis gases and other gas streams. R3-15 can also be used for the removal of oxygen from hydrocarbon streams like ethylene. Prior to operation as an oxygen scavenger, R3-15 needs to be reduced according standard procedures. R3-15 can also be used for converting CO and H2 to CO2 and H2O in ethylene containing streams. This allows to achieve very low levels of the respective impurities. At the end of a cycle, R3-15 needs to be reoxidzed. Please contact BASF for further details.
In addition, R3-15 effectively removes traces of hydrogen sulfide (H2S), carbonyl sulfide (COS), arsine (AsH3), phopshine (PH3) and other sulfur compounds from various process streams.
Process dependent, PuriStar® R3-15 can be used
up to temperatures of around 230° C (450° F).

PuriStar R3-15设计用于从工业气体流中吸附去除氧气,如氮、惰性气体(如氦、氩、氨、氙)、碳氧化物、氫气、合成气和其他气体。
R3-15也可用于去除乙烯等碳氢化合物中的氧气。在用作氧气清除剂之前,R3-15需要按标准程序还原。
R3-15也可在杂质浓度非常低的情况下将乙烯流中的CO和H2转化成CO2和H2O。在一轮反应结束后,R3-15需要被重新氧化。
此外,R3-15可以有效地去除了硫化氢(H2S),羰基硫(COS),砷化氢(AsH3)、磷化氢(PH3)和其来自不同工艺流程的硫化物。
根据工艺不同,PuriStar R3-15可使用最高温度约为230℃(450F) 。
